Summary
Vice President Henry Wilson addresses William Lloyd Garrison expressing his sadness by the state of the nation, citing the rise of "White League men in the South" and the "coldness in the North", and states that he fears a "Counter-Revolution". Wilson exhorts their "Anti-Slavery veterans" to "speak out" against the "reactionary movements" threatening the progress so hard-won by the efforts of many.
