Letter from Joel Clough, Farmington, to Amos Augustus Phelps, April 26. 1827
Summary
Joel Clough writes to Amos A. Phelps that he had an agreeable winter in the west, and that he plans to finish the stone work to the aqueduct as soon as August. On the same sheet of paper, Phelps's mother, Clarissa Tryon, writes in May, to relate how she and others in Farmington are doing. She wishes that he will visit home.
