Summary
Josephine Butler writes to unknown sending a copy of a letter (not included) sent to "persons in America we have had appeals for suggestions with regard to the opposition .. towards the legalizing of prostitution." Butler claims the "International Medical Congresses .. will not be satisfied until the Anglo Saxon race takes the lead in the adoption of this system of modern, white slavery" and invites the recipient to respond to the subject of the legalization of prostitution.
