Summary

Ranson G. Williams writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding his request for assistance in finding work. He writes, "For reasons which I will make known to you at some other time, I have about determined to resigned my office as Publishing Agent & Ass't Treasure of the American Anti Slavery Society. And as I have no other situation engaged, I wish to know whether your State Society can dispose of me to gain advantange to the cause. And if not, whether you know of any other situation in connection with some benevolent enterprise suited to my abilities, & one which I might obtain?"
