Letter from Samuel May, Boston, to Richard Davis Webb, March 30 / 58
Summary
May says that the Executive Board of the American Anti-Slavery Society feels that "The Anti-Slavery Advocate" should be continued. He reports that Maria Weston Chapman has decided to discontinue the Anti-Slavery Fair. May says that while only a few abolitionists agree with her decision, she has a plan of her own. May gives an account of the removal of Edward Greely Loring from the office of United States Commissioner.
