Summary
Samuel Williston writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to Mrs. Williston obtaining signatures for the petition in East Hampton for the Boston female anti-slavery society, which he will forward after the opening of the next session of Congress. He writes that no agent has lectured in the region. He gives a list of wives of clergymen who would help the cause.
