Lithuanian army 1st Lt. Ruta Gaizetute, public affairs officer for International Security Assistance Force Provincial Reconstruction Team Camp Whiskey, meets with local villagers during a Civilian Military Cooperation Team visit, Sept. 29, 2008. The CIMIC team delivered school supplies, food and household items to to the village as a gift for the end of Ramadan. ISAF is assisting the Afghan government in extending and exercising its authority and influence across the country, creating the conditions for stabilization and reconstruction.
