Local construction workers describe the recent advancement of a structure on the courthouse compound to U.S. Navy Lt. j.g. Forrest Brown, July 13. Currently there are 21 judges assigned to the Paktika Provincial Court with no permanent structure to practice in. This building will provide infrastructure needed for Paktika’s legal system to practice rule of law province wide. Brown is the lead project manager for Paktika Provincial Reconstruction Team and hails from Navarre, Fla.
