Local villagers unload a truck full of materials delivered by a local contractor and Panjshir Provincial Reconstruction Team civil affairs members to assist in the re-creation of a solid Dehe Kalan irrigation canal in Shutol District Dec. 20, 2010. Panjshir PRT delivered 400 cement bags and 100 gabions to be used as building blocks to support the canal, said U.S. Army Sgt. Joshua O'Keefe of Athens, Mich., Panjshir PRT civil affairs. The villagers started the project on their own and the PRT is assisting to expedite the process.
