Local Wright Bee Flyers pollinate the Huffman Prairies

Local Wright Bee Flyers pollinate the Huffman Prairies at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Aug. 26, 2015. President Barack Obama’s mandate to save the pollinators initiated the Propolis Project LLC partnership with WPAFB National Park Service and Ohio Department of Agriculture. The goal is to help build up the Huffman Prairies at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to bloom as best as it can, because with the bees dying off in Ohio, naturally there is a shortage. By bringing the bees to the Huffman Prairies, they can increase seed production on the prairie and fulfill the mandate - bringing together governmental agencies and governmental property, which conduct programs that help increase and save the pollinators.
