Summary

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago (Apr. 04, 2012) Lt. Cmdr. Tristan Wagner, mission commander of Navy Dive Southern Partnership Station 2012, renders a salute after laying a wreath at the base of the Perry Memorial Gateway at Lapeyrouse Cemetery during the rededication ceremony. Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry was first buried at the cemetery in 1819. The gate was originally dedicated in 1926 and had fallen into disrepair. Members of Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit (MDSU) 2, Company 2-1, and civilian crew members from the Military Sealift Command rescue and salvage ship USNS Grapple (T-ARS 53) repaired the gate in time for the rededication ceremony.
