Lt. Col. John Martin a pilot with the 28th Bomb Wing Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., shows Secretary of Defense Leon E. The secretary hosted an All-Call with more than 300 airmen to thank them for their efforts in operating, maintaining and supporting the long range strike missions performed by the B-52H Stratofortress, B-2 Spirit and B-1B Lancer bomber aircraft. During the event, Secretary Panetta also re-enlisted six Airmen and presented medals to airmen who served in Afghanistan and other overseas locations. Following the All-Call, Panetta met with Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command and 2nd Bomb Wing leadership for briefings on global strike capabilities.
