Lt. Gen. Terry G. Robling is interviewed by BBC news in front of the MV-22B Osprey static display Feb. 12 at the Changi Exhibition Center in Singapore. The static display is a part of the Singapore International Airshow 2014 and is one of 96 aircraft on display at the airshow. The Singapore Air Show 2014 helps build stronger relations between the U.S. and Singapore, as well as among the international community. The event promotes military to military discussions on aircraft and equipment, which enables greater interoperability of aviation platforms, and furthers international military relationships and cooperation. The U.S. is committed to maintaining peace and stability in the region, and this event demonstrates a focus of the U.S. rebalance to the Asia-Pacific region. Robling is the commander of Marine Forces Pacific, and the Osprey is with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
