Mike Tracy, observes from the co-pilot's seat aboard an S-3B Viking from the "Checkmates" of Sea Control Squadron Two Two (VS-22). Lt. Bushnell had just completed an arrested landing aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75). CSG-10 and her embarked Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3) are currently on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of the Global War on Terrorism. In the United States Navy, these consist of ships commissioned with hull classification symbols CV (aircraft carrier), CVA (attack aircraft carrier), CVB (large aircraft carrier), CVL (light aircraft carrier), CVN (aircraft carrier (nuclear propulsion) and CVAN (attack aircraft carrier (nuclear propulsion). The first aircraft carrier commissioned into the United States Navy was USS Langley (CV-1) on 20 March 1922.
