Lt. Neon Response 09 is a bilateral EOD engagement between the United States Navy, Royal Bahrain Navy and Bahrain Defense Force Engineer Regiment EOD Forces. Its purpose is to increase tactical proficiency of U.S. Navy and Bahrain EOD forces, broaden levels of cooperation, enhance mutual maritime capability and support long-term regional influence.
