Maj. Brian Holste, container management officer in charge, and Maj. Jonathan Pipkens-Smith, supply and service deputy branch chief, 143rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), inspect shipping containers Dec. 30 here. Holste and Pipkens-Smith are just two of dozens of soldiers dedicated to sustainment operations in Kuwait. They’re currently working hard on stock reduction, site consolidation and cost reduction of containers, in an effort to save time, avoid costs and streamline container operations throughout the area of operation.
