Summary

Maj. Gen. Joseph Anderson, commanding general, 4th Infantry Division and Fort Carson, along with the leadership of the 10th Cavalry Regiment, lead all three squadrons of the unit back to the headquarters of the 4th Squadron, 10th Cav. Reg., 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Inf. Div., during a regimental run celebrating the 146th birthday of the 10th Cav. Reg., July 26, 2012. The unit run was followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Throughout the celebration, leaders of the regiment put emphasis on the history and traditions of the 10th Cav. Reg., a unit that has been a major part of U.S. history, from being one of the original Buffalo Soldier units, to being an important element in the capture of Saddam Hussein.
