Maj. Gen. Troy D. Kok, commanding general of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 99th Regional Support Command headquartered at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, meets with Joseph Boyle, a Navy chief petty officer who served in Vietnam, during a Jan. 28 visit to the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, New Jersey. The purpose of Kok’s visit was to thank veterans for their service and encourage young Soldiers to spend time with veterans in their local area.
