Major General Thomas P. Maguire, USAF, newly installed Adjutant General of the New York State Guard and Colonel Dana B. Demand, 105th Airlift Wings newly installed Commander pose in front of the 105th Air Wing's new static display aircraft: the O-2A Skymaster. The 105th Air Wing flew the O-2A prior to converting to the C-5A Galaxy. The 105th Air Wing is the only Air Guard unit to fly the C5A Galaxy

"Tommy" Maguire Jr., Adjutant General of New York State and Commander 487th Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW) awards the Bronze Star to USAF Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) James F. Atkinson III, 107th Air Refueling Wing (ARW), New York Air National Guard (NYANG), New York (NY), at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
