Shows author's routes in 1878 and 1879.
"The figures give the approximate heights above the sea in English feet, measured with an aneroid barometer made and tested by Casella, N. B. These figures may be best relied on as regards central Arabia. The journey between Meshed Ali and Shustur was made during violent changes of weather."
