Marine air delivery specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, assemble a Container Delivery System here Jan. 14. The Marines launch a fully constructed CDS out of aircraft to resupply troops with critical equipment and provisions that troops may need on the ground. The training is part of the Realistic Urban Training exercise scheduled Jan. 5-20, which has the unit conducting off-base missions near the town of Farmville, Va., to prepare for the various operations they may conduct during their upcoming deployment.
