MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Sgt. Philip Barry, a crew chief with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268, also known as the “Red Dragons,” and a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, stares out over the Pacific Ocean prior to a tail-gunnery training exercise on Jan. 11, 2017. During the training, the aircraft’s crew chiefs fired controlled bursts with M240B medium machine guns from the rear of MV-22 Ospreys while communicating with their pilots over the ocean surface.
