Marines and sailors salute during the playing of “Taps” and the “Star-Spangled Banner” at a 9/11 memorial ceremony Sept. 11, 2014, at Fort McHenry National Park, Md. Taps was played to honor those who lost their lives during the 9/11 attacks in 2001. More than 100 Marines from various units with II Marine Expeditionary Force, including 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division and 2nd Marine Logistics Group based out of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 464, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing based at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina descended on Baltimore to celebrate the "Star-Spangled Spectacular" in honor of the 200-year anniversary of "The Star-Spangled Banner."
