Marines, parents and their children celebrate the Marine Corps 244th birthday at the Kids Birthday Bash in the Barber Physical Activity Center, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Nov. 6, 2019. The bash featured a cake cutting ceremony where a piece of cake was passed down from the oldest to the youngest child. The kids also shared stories of how they helped their parents during deployments, exercises, and long hours away from home.
