Marines sprint to the finish line while in a stretcher race during the 3rd biannual Spartan Cup Field Day Competition at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, July 10, 2015. Marines with Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28 went head to head in events such as tug-of-war, a stretcher run, and a Humvee pull for an overall winner of the Spartan Cup. MWCS-28s intent is to encourage the highest-degree of combat readiness in a broad range of categories, in order to achieve balanced excellence, promote esprit de corps, and cultivate a competitive spirit across the Squadron.
