Marines with Headquarter and Service Company, Motor Transportation, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, were awarded the Marine Corps Motor Transport Maintenance Unit of the Year award at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Mar. 28, 2017. Maj. Gen. Daniel O’Donohue, the commanding general of 1st Marine Division, presented the unit with the award. This is awarded to the most outstanding unit in the Marine Corps Motor Transportation maintenance field that possesses an exemplary history of safe vehicle maintenance in both garrison and combat.
