Marines with Headquarters and Support Battalion’s Provost

Marines with Headquarters and Support Battalion’s Provost Marshal’s Office complete the final leg of the torch run Nov. 6 to Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps military police and security forces ran torches from their respective installations to the 18th Security Forces Squadron headquarters building on Kadena. The officers’ sole mission during the run is to ensure the Flame of Hope never extinguishes and makes it to the opening ceremony safely, according to Air Force Lt. Col Sarah Babbitt, the commander of the 18th wing security forces squadron.
