Marines with Marine Barracks Washington D.C. hike with their packs during Fire Team Leaders Course at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., Sept. 9, 2018. The course is comprised of multiple live-fire events utilizing numerous weapons systems, patrols and defensive and offensive drills. It is a course designed to strengthen small unit leadership amongst the Marines to prepare them for the Fleet Marine Forces, while focusing on refining their infantry skills. This year marks the fourth iteration of the Fire Team Leaders Course.
