GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Nov. 07, 2007) Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) Joe R. Campa Jr. talks with senior enlisted Sailors assigned to Naval Station Great Lakes commands. Campa, along with Fleet and Force Master Chiefs, were at Great Lakes to attend a working group to discuss topics of improving the Navy individual augmentee process, enlisted surface and air warfare programs, defining the role of the first class petty officer, and the chief petty officer's role in family support. MCPON also took time to visit with Sailors stationed at Great Lakes, was the reviewing officer of graduation at Recruit Training Command, and attended a ribbon cutting at the new Great Lakes Goat Locker.
