Master Sgt. Shaun Halloway, with the 186th Civil Engineer Squadron, 186th Air Refueling Wing, Mississippi Air National Guard, cuts apart a tree during a debris clearing mission in support of the exercise Ardent Sentry on May 31, 2019 at Camp McCain, Mississippi. Ardent Sentry is a North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command exercise focused on defense support of civil authorities during a simulated New Madrid Seismic Zone earthquake. Approximately 250 Mississippi National Guard personnel will be participating in the nearly two week exercise focused on building interagency relationships to prepare for possible severe earthquakes.
