McKinley's Ohio home yields wood for gavel. Garner made gift by Commerce Group. Washington, D.C., May 4. Canton, Ohio's Chamber of Commerce today called upon the Vice President to make him a present of a gavel turned from wood taken from the home of the late President McKinley in Canton.
