Members of the 1681st Military Airlift Squadron load pallets of meals-ready-to-eat (MREs) aboard a C-5 Galaxy aircraft. The supplies are to be shipped to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where the Red Cross will distribute them to refugees suffering due to that country's civil unrest. The MREs are excess military supplies and are made available by authority of the McCallum Program and the DOD Excess Property Program
