Members of the Alaska Army National Guard and the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum (AAHM) attach straps to the edge of an OA-10 PBY Catalina flying boat wing to aid in transportation of the aircraft by a CH-54B Tahre during a recovery operation initiated by the AAHM. The historic aircraft was abandoned by the Air Force after engine trouble forced it down at Dago Lake on September 30, 1947. Members of the AAHM plan to restore the aircraft and have it flying again sometime in the early 1990s
