Members of the New York National Guard's Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Task Force participate in a training scenario at the Volkstone training site near Kingwood, W.Va., July 23, as part of the special focus event, Operation Dawson Storm, a multi-location training exercise in West Virginia. The WVNG conducted the training exercise July 20-25 in Preston, Monongalia and Kanawha counties. Military units and civilian emergency response agencies participated in the exercise designed to simulate emergencies such as chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosives (CBRNE) incidents and a natural disaster.
