Members of the Texas Military Forces dedicated and renamed the auditorium of the Audie L. Murphy Regional Training Institute at Camp Mabry, Texas on April 21, 2013, in honor of Texas Army National Guard Command Sgt. Maj. Milton W. Simpson. He served 36 years in the Armed Forces and was the commandant of the RTI before his retirement in 2011. Simpson passed away in September 2012 (Texas Army National Guard photo by Spc.
