Midshipman Sheddric Peoples, a Southern University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps midshipman, is awarded the Marine Corps Federick C. Branch Scholarship during the 2015 Bayou Classic game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Nov. 28, 2015. The scholarship is available to students who are currently attending or have received letters of acceptance to one of 17 historically black colleges with NROTC programs.
