NAVAL WEAPONS STATION SEAL BEACH, Calif. (Mar. 31, 2012) Mineman 2nd Class Bryan Andrews and Gas Turbine Systems Technician Senior Chief Pedro C. Gines plant a western sycamore tree at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach as Sailors and member of the local community plant trees along the fence line of the installation to enhance the environment and relations with the community. The Seal Beach installation recently won both the Chief of Naval Operations and Secretary of the Navy's award for Environmental Sustainability (Industrial Installations) for outstanding performance in promoting environmental stewardship.
