Mission accomplished, Afghanistan

Maj. Gen. James Mallory, deputy commander, North Atlantic Treaty Organization Training Mission-Afghanistan, attaches the Meritorious Unit Commendation streamer onto the 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, guidon. The battalion, originally scheduled for de-activation, was re-activated for deployment to Afghanistan as trainers to the Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police.
