MSST LA-LB Working Dog Memorial

ENCINITAS, Calif. - A K-9 handler from Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team Los Angeles-Long Beach and his dog, Chiquita, attend the unveiling of the Rancho Coastal Humane Society's Military Working Dog Memorial, April 16. This new memorial is the only one of its kind on public land west of the Mississippi River, honoring military dogs who over the course of their careers save an average of 150 service members.
