New IGs take Oath of Office

U.S. Army Maj. Nathan Wilson and U.S. Army Master Sgt. Kennia Alvarez-Rosa take the Army Inspector General Oath of Office from U.S. Army Col. Kris Kramarich, the National Guard Bureau’s Acting Inspector General in a ceremony at the Army National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, Va., July 28. U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Timothy Wojtecki (background), a special assistant to the director to the Army National Guard, provided the opening remarks. Wilson and Alvarez-Rosa recently graduated from the three-week Army Inspector General’s Course. As an extension of the eyes, ears, voice, and conscience for the chief, National Guard Bureau, the mission of the NGB-IG is to provide the CNGB with assessment of the economy, efficiency, discipline, moral, esprit de corps, relevance and readiness of the National Guard through assistance, investigations, and inspections in order to secure the homeland, fight America’s wars and build partnerships.
