New Orleans, LA, October 9, 2005 - Amtrak riders begin to board the City of New Orleans for its first departure from Union Passenger Terminal since Hurricane Katrina substantially damaged the rail lines. Passenger rail service began today, Sunday, October 9, with the hopes of steady growth during the rebuilding process of New Orleans and the surrounding parishes. Robert Kaufmann/FEMA
