New York Army National Guard Soldiers from the 152nd Engineer Company use engineering equipment to assist in snow removal efforts in Buffalo, N.Y., Nov. 20 as part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s callup of some 375 National Guard members to support response and recovery efforts in Western New York following historic amounts of snowfall. Some two dozen engineers, based in Buffalo, utilized bucket loaders and dump trucks to clear key roadways for emergency responders at this one site, part of ongoing efforts with more than a dozen missions completed in the first 48 hours.
