OKINAWA, Japan (Oct. 22, 2007) Newly trained combat life savers prove their skills while transporting a simulated injured service member on a stretcher during a mass casualty drill held by Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 7 aboard Camp Shields. The mass casualty drill was part of a medical readiness assessment to evaluate the battalions medical department readiness by 1st Naval Construction Division personnel. NMCB-7 is deployed to the Far East to provide construction support to shore installations in support of the global war on terrorism.
