Library Inventory Number. ..The NKVMF is the acronym for The People’s Commissariat (or Ministry) for Navy; KBF is the acronym for The Red Banner Baltic Fleet (or, Krasnoznamyonnyy Baltiyskiy Flot). Therefore, this stamp is from the library of the local Navy base in the city of Tallinn. However, Tallinn was known as Reval from the 13th century until 1917; the name was changed from Tallinn back to Reval during the Nazi occupation of Estonia from 1941-1944.
