NORFOLK, Va. (April 27, 2018) -- Aviation Boatswain's (Equipment) 1st Class Kenneth Fells, from Palatka, Florida, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, helps a shipmate put on their runners number for a 5k run on the flight deck in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM). This year's SAAPM theme is "Protecting Our People Protects Our Mission," which was established by the DoD Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Office.
