Ohio Army National Guard military police Soldiers prepare their Humvee Sept. 29, 2020, in Cleveland to assist civil authorities and law enforcement from local, state and federal agencies in ensuring a safe and secure environment outside the first 2020 U.S. presidential debate. Through these partnerships, citizens were able to exercise their First Amendment right to demonstrate peacefully, with multiple organizations conducting demonstrations prior to the debate, held at the Health Education Campus of Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland Clinic.
