Oklahoma Air National Guardsman Col. Lance Frye, Oklahoma National Guard State Air Surgeon, poses for a photo, June 1, 2020, after being named as the State’s new interim commissioner of health by Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt on May 22, 2020. As the state air surgeon, Frye is the Oklahoma Air National Guards senior medical officer and advisor to the Adjutant General. He is responsible for all medical matters in the Oklahoma Air National Guard and a liaison to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
