UMM QASR, Iraq (May 2, 2003) -- The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Walnut (WLB-205), a seagoing buoy tender based in Honolulu, heads upriver on the Khawr 'Abd Allah, the waterway which links Umm Qasr, Iraq's only deepwater port, with the Arabian Gulf. The tender replaced all original buoys on the waterway with new or refurbished buoys in preparation for commercial shipping traffic. USCG photo by PA1 John Gaffney
