Over 5,000 32nd Division Soldiers celebrate an outdoor Christmas Eve service Dec. 24, 1917 led by Capt. Gustav Stearns, 127th Infantry Regiment chaplain. The troops were members of the Wisconsin and Michigan National Guard training for World War I as the 32nd Division at Camp MacArthur, Texas.
