2. Between 1900 and 1953, PS 'Marion' worked the River Murray, primarily as a passenger vessel. Marion’s crew included several women and it had cabins and a dining room. In 1919, 'Marion' became part of the Murray Shipping Limited’s fleet and its passenger facilities were expanded and modernised.
